AlpenCheddar is a unique blend of traditional German Alpine cheese and British Farmhouse Cheddar, created by two of the most distinguished artisan cheesemakers – Albert Kraus and Mary Quicke.

Albert Kraus produces Alpine-style cheese from the best Algäu milk in the Ebersbach dairy, Bavaria. While Mary Quicke makes some of the best West Country Farmhouse Cheddar at the family farm in Devon. And together, they’ve created something quite special.

AlpenCheddar has a distinct sweet nuttiness, which you get from a good alpine cheese, paired with the acidity of the cheddar which leads to a delicious apricot finish.

A firm but also soft and creamy texture. This cheese shows how bringing two worlds together can result in something totally unique…and delicious.
